As I prepare for my first wedding of the 2026 calendar year I cannot help but to be drawn to still honor the past year and everything we accomplished. So, here we go:

If I had to sum up 2025 in one word, it would be expansive!! ✨

This year stretched me creatively, professionally, and personally in the best possible ways!! 🤍 From unforgettable wedding mornings to educational opportunities, travel, features, and new relationships within the industry, 2025 reminded me why I love what I do and who I get to do it with 🤍✨ In 2025, I was incredibly honored to work 41 weddings total!!! Yes, forty-one wedding mornings, and I am so proud of the demand, trust, and love behind every single one.

So let’s rewind for a second and take a look at what this year held month by month.

2025, Month by Month ✨

January - We kicked off the year with one bride trial, setting the tone for what was to come

February - Traveled to NYC for an editorial shoot with The Ivory Standard

(a major creative pinch‑me moment 🗽)

March - Met my DESIGNME fam in person at our national educator training. equal parts inspiring and affirming

April - One wedding and one bride trial, easing into busy season with intention

May - A whirlwind month with 9 weddings (yes, nine!!) and so many unforgettable mornings

June - Premiere Orlando and NYC for an education shoot with DESIGNME! learning, teaching, and creating at the highest level

July - Styled Shoots Across America in Kansas City with The Ivory Standard! collaboration magic at its finest

August - Interviewed for a podcast talking all things DESIGNME, education, and artistry

September - Won STL Magazine A‑List Awards for Best Wedding Hair 🏆a moment I’ll never forget

October - 6 weddings and 3 bride trials! proof that fall wedding season does not play around

November - Honored to serve as a judge for the creative competition at the BLOC Head Fashion Show

December - Closed out the year with 4 weddings and 1 bride trial, feeling full, grateful, and proud

Wedding Mornings That Filled My Cup 🤍✨

At the heart of everything I do are my brides.

In 2025, I was honored to work 40 weddings total throughout the year!!! Forty wedding mornings, forty unique love stories, and forty chances to do what I love most 🥹✨ From calm, candle lit mornings to full on dance party chaos before the ceremony, I was trusted to create hairstyles that lasted all day and all night (yes, even through the sweaty dance floor moments 🪩💃)

Being invited into such an intimate part of a wedding day is something I never take lightly. Every braid, wave, and updo was done with intention, experience, and a whole lot of hype girl energy 🤍✨

Industry Opportunities & Creative Growth 🎓✨

This year also brought opportunities that pushed me outside my comfort zone in the best way.

From traveling for work, collaborating with brands and venues I admire, and stepping further into the education space, 2025 challenged me to share my knowledge more openly and confidently. Teaching, mentoring, and connecting with other stylists reminded me that there is room for all of us to succeed and that growth is meant to be shared.

Every class attended, stage stepped onto, and conversation had added another layer to my artistry and business.

Features, Recognition & Big Pinch-Me Moments 🏆

2025 also brought moments that felt surreal.

Being recognized within the wedding industry, especially on a local level, was deeply meaningful. These moments weren’t just wins for me, but reflections of the trust my clients place in me and the support of an incredible vendor community.

I’m endlessly grateful for every vote, feature, tag, referral, and kind word sent my way this year. None of it goes unnoticed.

Community Over Competition, Always 🤝

One of the biggest highlights of 2025 was the people.

The planners, photographers, makeup artists, venue teams, brand partners, and fellow stylists I worked alongside made this year what it was. The wedding industry thrives on collaboration, and I’m constantly inspired by the talent and heart surrounding me.

As I close the chapter on 2025, I’m stepping into 2026 feeling grounded, excited, and incredibly thankful!! ✨

My books are filling, my goals are growing, and my passion for serving brides (and fellow stylists) is stronger than ever. If 2025 taught me anything, it’s that trusting the process (and yourself) can lead to opportunities you never even imagined
